Wooden watch care and bracelet sizing

Treat the wood and watch mechanism with care. Keep the model-specific instructions that arrive with your watch, and check its product specifications before assuming a water-resistance rating applies.

Water resistance is not a swimming rating

Eclipse is listed at 3 ATM for everyday splashes and rain. Remove it for swimming, showering and prolonged water exposure. Do not assume another model has the same rating; check its own specifications or contact us.

Let a damp watch dry naturally. Keep it away from heaters and other direct heat. Avoid cleaning products and solvents that could affect the wood or finish.

Clean gently and store dry

Use a soft, dry cloth to remove everyday marks. Avoid soaking the bracelet. When you are not wearing the watch, store it in a dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight and extremes of temperature.

Do not apply an oil or treatment unless Woodland has confirmed it is suitable for your model and finish. Natural changes in wood tone are different from a fault in the mechanism.

Size the bracelet a little at a time

A bracelet-adjustment tool is included. Follow the supplied manual for your model and work on a stable surface where small pins and links will not be lost. Remove links gradually and keep the spare parts.

If a pin will not move as the instructions describe, stop rather than forcing it. Contact Woodland for help or use a watch repair professional. Check the fit before removing another link.

Keep your order details for support

Woodland includes a one-year warranty for defects in materials or craftsmanship, subject to the warranty terms. It does not replace the watch’s care instructions or your statutory rights.

Contact info@woodlandwatches.co.uk with your order number, model and a description of the problem. Clear photographs can help us understand a bracelet or case issue. The watch-care and warranty page explains the full terms.
