Woodland watch & gift guides

How to choose a wooden watch

Begin with three practical questions: which colours do you like, what size feels comfortable, and what kind of dial do you enjoy looking at? Then consider whether the watch is for everyday wear or a particular gift.

Choose a material and palette

Eclipse and Heritage use walnut tones. Deer and Stag use zebrawood; Victoria uses olive wood. Compare the actual product pages for each model’s material and hardware. A model name alone is not a specification.

Natural grain and colour vary from piece to piece. The photographs show the design and an example of the material; your watch will have its own markings.

Look closely at the dial

A symbolic dial, a simple sunburst face and a chronograph layout have different characters. Stag and Deer feature animal designs; Yggdrasil has a Tree of Life dial. Victoria has a silver sunburst face. Heritage pairs walnut with a multi-function chronograph layout.

A visible or skeleton-style dial describes its appearance, not automatically its movement. Check the listed movement or ask us before choosing based on whether a watch is quartz, mechanical or automatic.

Check wrist fit before choosing

Eclipse’s listed case size is 44 mm. Check each model’s own measurements rather than assuming they are identical. The bracelet can be adjusted by removing links, using the supplied sizing tool. Contact us for a measurement or fit question that the product page does not answer.

Make a gift personal

Every Woodland watch includes a wooden gift box. Optional engraving is personally completed by founder Lukas Roe in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. Choose your watch first, then use its preview and character counter to save a message.

Before ordering, check current availability, delivery estimates, returns and care information. Free tracked UK delivery normally takes 3–5 working days, including engraving.
